Challenge: Commonwealth Biotechnologies, Inc., the most comprehensive contract research organization in the market today, needed a modern Web site reflecting their eminent position in the biotech industry, without sacrificing business opportunities in the scientific community, many of which were still using non-graphical browsers. Solution: An elegant toolbar was created based on the DNA double-helix, from which all pages were available via a custom JavaScript menu. In addition, a 'text only' mirror site was built to serve users with text browsers.
